Local rugby action tonight and tomorrow

There’s rugby action of a very local action tonight (Friday) with a local derby between Exmouth and Withycombe at Under-14 level with the game taking place at the Imperial Ground under lights, kicking off at 7pm.

Tomorrow (Saturday), Exmouth 1st XV look to continue their 100 per cent start to the new South West Premier season when they entertain mid-table Old Centralians. Kick-off at the Imperial Ground is 2.30pm.

There’s also Saturday rugby for Withycombe who play match number three of their Cornwall/Devon season when they make the trip to Mid Devon to meet Cullompton (see a match preview in another article here on our website).

Sidmouth are also on the road, in their case for match number two of their South West One West campaign when they travel to Newent who are one of four sides in the division to still sport 100 per cent records this fledgling league season.

In the Western Counties West, Honiton are one of three teams yet to get off the mark and tomorrow they host a Truro side that sit three places and five points better off after winning one and losing one of their first two – the Lacemen have lost their first two league starts of the season.
