There may be no action until December 18 in terms of Exmouth Town and the Toolstation Western League, but the Southern Road club do have both Reserve team and Under-18 action to look forward to on the first Saturday of December.
The Town Reserves are in Scott Richards Solicitors Devon League North and East action when they entertain Braunton on Saturday, December 5.
Ironically, the last time the Town second string were in action they were also faced with Braunton who beat them 2-0 in North Devon on October 31.
Town go into the game sitting seventh, two places worse off than Braunton.
Next Saturday’s game will be match number nine for Town in a league season that is scheduled to run for a total of 26 games.
The following day (Sunday, December 6), the Town Under-18s are in Devon Cup action when they travel to Teignmouth.
The Teigns play in the Southern Division and have managed just one game so far, that a mid-September 3-2 win over Bovey Tracey.
Town sit top of the North Division having banked 13 points from five games and are one of three teams in the section to still be unbeaten this season – the others are Clyst Valley, who have played four times and Budleigh Salterton, who have played three.
